Pinentry ignoring system language settings

Bug report from a user via mail:
Environment:
GPGTools-ML1 (downloaded/installed 2013-03-17) OS X 10.8.3 64bit
Mail.app 6.3 (1503) with Mail Act-On extension installed/added.
Reproducer Steps:
Create Mail Elect to sign it Observe the language used in the
pinentry-mac window asking for the passphrase
Expected results:
Requester in English, possibly Swedish (secondary language)
Actual results:
pinentry-mac requester language is German

System Preferences, Language & Text:
Language set to British English, followed by Swedish, Russian,
Dutch, French and German. Region set to Sweden.

- State changed from “new” to “invalid”
This is actaally NOTABUG.
We do not have any translation for British English. So if german is higher on the list than "english" in your language settings the message will show in german.
To change that, set your system to english instead of british english.
