gpg ends with exitcode 2 if a public key for a signed message is not available, even though decryption succeeded
Reported by Luke Le | December 1st, 2011 @ 02:15 AM
If a message is encrypted and signed, and the decryption
succeeds but
the public key for the message is not in the keyring, gpg ends with
exit code
2. This again throws off libmacgpg which ends with an
exception.
In fact, the exception would be ok, but it's necessary if the
primary operation
(decryption) or the sub operation (verification) failed.
