CRC error when importing key pair, CPU spikes

steps to reproduce
- create a key with the mailvelope browser extension (e.g. for chrome
- select "Display keys"
- Export > Display Key Pair
- Click "Create File", then "Download Key"
Try to import "username_keypair.asc" into GPG Keychain Access
