Via Tender: how to decrypt or encrypt a folder of files easily
Reported by Alex (via GPGTools) | November 22nd, 2011 @ 03:26 PM | in 1.9.1 (closed)
Assigned to Tender discussion #41. As reported in Tender:
When I right-click on the file and choose OpenPGP Dcrypt, it hangs a while and turns out errors like " ..service could not be used because the application did not response to a request for services....try reopening "(null),"
So we should find a way to avoid running into a timeout when decrypting large files.

With https://github.com/GPGTools/GPGServices/commit/a4e272bf7, GPGServices now does file operations asynchronously off the main thread, and the service request is replied to quickly (even as GPGServices is cranking away at the operation).
Nightly GPGServices now also has a progress dialog that comes up for file operations so the user can see that GPGServices is actively doing work.

Cannot reproduce this with 1.9.1. Setting to Fixed.
A progress indicator for large files would be great but we have a separate ticket for that: #106.
