I think one important bit of information that's not included: I tried this on Lion :-)

@Moritz - might be related in this context: the attached file was created by copy&paste text from gmail into textedit. I can read it using gpg2 but not by using GPGServices ("No decryptable data was found").

Sorry for the delay, was pretty busy.
I can reproduce this, but sadly the only error I get from MacGPGMe is "No encrypted data".

Any chance to switch to Libmacgpg? Afaik all the other projects have finally dropped MacGPGMe.

I'll have another look at libmacgpg later today. If the lib provides what
GPGServices needs, switching shouldn't be a problem.
It failed on too un-verbose error messages and performance the last time I
checked. -

Moritz, I have no clue what this means, but is this something that needs to be fixed on Mentos side or can you deal with that?

I have to take a look at the current state of libmacgpg. There were some
