Offer a preference menu
Reported by Alex (via GPGTools) | January 14th, 2011 @ 02:30 PM | in 1.7 (closed)
Also see the "global GPGTools system preferences" idea.
Possible options:
-
--throw-keyids:
Do not put the recipient key IDs into encrypted messages. This helps to hide the receivers of the message and is a limited countermeasure against traffic analysis.
-
--auto-key-retrieve:
This option enables the automatic retrieving of keys from a keyserver when verifying signatures made by keys that are not on the local keyring.
(I don't know if it is possible to set these with MacGPG)

I have created two new seperate tickets. One for the GPGPrefs and auto key retrieve and another one for the GPGS to add the feature of hidden recipients.
