Recipient Window: Keep keys selected while searching?

I just pushed an improvement in searching for keys and need feedback:
When searching for keys in the window, all keys got deselected in the old version. This was annoying for me, because selecting "sign" also deselected all keys.
New behavior:
When multiple keys are selected and the user starts typing, the
table keeps all keys selected which are in the search results. Is
this acceptable? I think it's much better than deselecting all keys
(which is the default of UITableView btw.)
What do you / the others think?
