Commander One Pro removing any existing Services entries in macOS finder
Reported by steve | August 17th, 2016 @ 02:56 PM | in 1.11.1 (closed)
Eltima Software developes Commander One Pro. It can be
downloaded here:
http://mac.eltima.com/commander-one-download.html
Once Commander 1.5.2 is installed on macOS (tested in 10.10.5), all Services entries are gone and replaced with an entry of commander in the finder contextual menu (see attached screenshot "commander installed").
Once commander software is removed, Services menu returns to expected form (see attached screenshot "commander uninstalled").

They say they are aware of this issue and the next version will
include a fix. Until then users will have to either uninstall
Commander One or GPGServices will not show in the services
menu.

- State changed from waiting to verified
- Milestone set to 1.11.1
Commander One 1.6.0 has been released and no longer tampers with the Services menu in macOS.
We recommend to either either uninstall Commander one or update Commander One to the latest version. -

- State changed from verified to invalid
setting to invalid. this was always notourbug. we are not using that state and since the fix went in on the side of commander one, setting to invalid. which is more correct than "fixed" which is only used when actual code went into the software on our side.
