Signing: Only show keys which can sign
Reported by ronin-140089 (at lighthouseapp) | March 17th, 2011 @ 10:51 PM | in Q1 2011
Currently, the key window shows all private keys on the machine, even keys which are expired or otherwise invalid for signing.
The class GPGKey provides a method called canSign which returns a boolean indicating the key can sign. Unfortunately, this method doesn't seem to work on private keys. It always returns NO in my tests.
Of someone wants to do this, take a look at
getPrivateKeys
in
KeyChooserWindowController.m
. This is the best way to
filter the keys according to their availability for signing.
