GPGServices fails to verify correct signature when displaying email as raw source
Reported by steve | March 25th, 2015 @ 11:24 PM
Mac OS X: 10.10.2 (14C1514)
MacGPG2: 2.0.27b6 (c71397d), 803n
GPG Keychain: 1.2b6 (422436e), 1059n
GPGServices: 1.10b6 (5e667ad), 785n
GPGPreferences: 1.5b6 (a1cc712), 773n
GPGMail: 2.5b6 (72c0752), 920n
Reproduce 100%
- send sig mail to yourself
- GPGMail will correctly verify the signature and show the signature as valid
- press ⌥⌘U to show email as raw source
- mark signature and right click
- select Services > OpenPGP: Verify Signature of Selection
Expected: GPGServices should verify the signature and show a valid signature as result.
Currently: Verification failed - No signatures found within the selection
Test email in crypted bug cases folder. But sending yourself a test mail should work as well.

- State changed from new to invalid
This is expected behavior. GPGServices does not understand PGP/MIME signed emails.
