can't decrypt encrypted messages sent via facebook

While I do not want to encourage facebook usage in any way, we currently have the issue that encrypted messages which are sent via their system cannot be decrypted.
repro:
- post an encrypted message on facebook
- if the comment field contains a link e.g. https://gpgtools.org facebook will alter the message
current result:
message cannot be decrypted
expected result:
be more tolerant about facebooks message mangling.
