  Not sure if this is a current issue.

  Recent releases show more error information from GPGController.

  Nightly GPGServices has an improvement for Lion to avoid SIGPIPE in case the defective signature is causing gpg2 to terminate early. (not sure if this applies for this case).

  Let's close this. It's much too unspecific and many fixes have been made since early 2012. Should it reappear we can re-open this or bette: create a new ticket with better information.

  Funny, I just tried to decrypt the initial message on Tender (support discussion) and received a GPGServices error:

  Does this tell you anything? I know - not really related to this issue, but while I'm at it, I thought I'd post it. We can open a separate ticket later if needed.

  Steve, that does seem like an unexpected gpg2 termination that might have generated a SIGPIPE in an earlier version, taking down GPGServices.

  But anyway if GPGServices as tested by you now at least growls a failure message, then the new handling works and I guess the issue could be considered fixed.
