GPGServices do timeout

Environment.
Product name and version: GPGServices 1.7a3
OS X version: 10.7.2
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open TextEdit
2. type sth and mark the text, then Services > Engrypt
3. wait about 30-45 sec
What is the expected result?
nothing. GPGServices should let me fiddle with the keys for 1 or 2
minutes without timing out
What happens instead?
error message appears: http://cl.ly/3F1r082b3s2h3H1f2j0f
tested with Kod as well as TextEdit

nothing serious. Mento says standard Mac OS X policy. Maybe we can find a workaround?

what we know:
- error msg is coming from Mac OS X if a service does not react after a specified amount of time
maybe look at it at a later point of time.
