Via Tender: Problems with installing GPGTools
Reported by Support | December 21st, 2011 @ 09:18 AM | in 1.7 (closed)
Assigned to Tender discussion #221. And another crash (incl. console output) via Tender:
Greetings,
I recently downloaded GPGTools from www.gpgtools.org and installed it on my new Macbook Pro running OS X 10.7.2. The installation seemed to be successful, but I am experiencing the following anomalies:(1) The only app that seems to have been installed is GPG Keychain Access.app. There is no other app, and no uninstaller. I have successfully used GPG Keychain Access.app to import some keys, both secret and public.
(2) I have not been able to encrypt or decrypt any files. When I two-finger-click on a file, the "Services" menu contains items for "OpenPGP: Encrypt", "OpenPGP: Decrypt" etc., and these items appear to be active (not greyed out), but when I click on them, nothing happens. Nothing at all.
Do you have any advice about what to do next?
Thanks,
Don Chamberlin

We have the Tender discussion for this problem and don't know yet, what the problem is. I asked the user to try our latest nightly in the discussion. Maybe this fixes the problem, if any issue arises, I'll create a new ticket.
