Not sure whether this is easily realizable since OS X services are no real applications. What about enhancing GKA to analyze what type of file it is and import the key or suggest the user what to do otherwise.

Is easily possible, just tried it.
Just add the filetype to CFBundleDocumentTypes and implement the delegate method openFile:
