no notification or fall-back dialog shown sometimes
Reported by steve | June 13th, 2020 @ 01:30 AM
Still investigating the exact circumstances and not certain about relevant reproduce steps. So writing down what is in use on the system in question.
Reproduce
- Activate macOS notifications in Alert Style (Banner style
exposes the same behavior I think)
- setup DND for time range matching the time you are trying to
reproduce
- sign random file
- double click .sig file
Expected
As DND is active the fallback dialog should instantly be shown.
Currently
Neither Notification nor fallback Dialog is shown.
The following console output should give an idea, as to what is going wrong.

- State changed from new to verified
macOS 10.15.6
GPG Suite 2020.1
unable to reproduce with banner style or alert styleOn every test I get the fallback dialog. Wondering if 10.15.6 update changed behavior.
