Right click context menu for services doesn't appear consistently

The right click context menu to access GPGServices appears inconsistently.

The right click context menu appears in TextEdit but not in Firefox or Sublime (my default text editor). Since no services appear at all in these two cases this isn't an fault in GPGServices but I hope there's a way to fix this.

I have tried the Onyx solution mentioned in the FAQ with no changes noticed. In fact the attached screenshots were taken after using the Onyx tool.

I can still access all the options in the menu bar but going to the menu bar each time doubles or triples the required time to decrypt/encrypt a message each time.
