limit store for ... seconds field to 5 digits and 99999 seconds for password caching time
Reported by steve | December 3rd, 2016 @ 08:56 PM | in 2.1 (closed)
Currently
The field for the caching time allows typing letters and really really long numbers.
Expected
We should limit the field to numbers and 5 digits. Also 99999 should be the longest time allowed to set for caching. Currently 86999 is the maximum. I am not sure why this value currently is the limit, but would suspec it's close to 24h. 87000 is not allowed.

The current behavior feels a bit odd. Thus proposing to adjust the behavior:
- when entering more digits than allowed, any further key press should trigger the macOS "beep" or "plonk" sound when no entry can be made. But the entered digits should not be altered. Should the user then decide to use 99999 that's great, but we should not alter the user entry
- when copy pasting a longer value than allowed into the caching box, an error message should be shown "Caching time is too large. Maximum is 99999 seconds."

so instead of showing an error message the first few digits are only accepted in combination with a beeping sound.
