new version info after running a sparkle update not reflected in updates tab until System Preferences are restarted

Reproduce:
- open GPGPreferences > Updates
- update any software (except GPGPreferences since that would trigger a restart) on any channel
Currently:
- after the update is installed, the version info shown in the updates tab is unchanged. as soon as System Preferences (re-opening GPGPreferences does not help here) is restarted the version info is updated
Expected:
- the new version info should be reflected as soon as some software update is finished

The updates tab is gone. We no longer show version info in GPGPreferences. Setting to invalid.
