The passphrase is hidden by default, but pinentry-mac saves the state of the checkbox 'Show typing'.

I have had complaints from MacGPG2 users that they do not like this behaviour.
I suggest a figuration option to control whether the state of the
clear text field is remembered.Sent from my iPhone

I talked to Mento about this already.
Maybe the best way for pinentry to behave is
- to remember only the box in Mail>Settings>PGP and make that the default
- make the "show passphrase" setting in pinentry only temporary (to quickly see the passphrase or hide it temporarily)
Makes sense?

Sounds like a good compromise to keep both camps happy!
