    • Tag set to launchd

    I see much the same -

    Feb 29 13:40:51 nine org.gpgtools.macgpg2.gpg-agent[30578]: gpg-agent[30578]: launchd only supported for real users - ie UID >= 500
    Feb 29 13:40:51 nine com.apple.launchd.peruser.89[30576] (org.gpgtools.macgpg2.gpg-agent[30578]): Exited with code: 1

    AFAICT this is because the file org.gpgtools.macgpg2.gpg-agent.list is trying to launch for other users (in this case, uid=89 for Spotlight).

    This error is written to /var/log/system.log repeatedly.

    I'm on OSX Lion 10.7.2 currently.

    • State changed from “open” to “wontfix”

    Newer MacGPG2 versions no longer use this launchd file. Shouldn't be a problem anymore.

    Seems the problem (or a closely related one) is back:

    Bambi: could you please download and install our latest nightly build and see if the problem persists. If it does, please open a discussion on our support platform and include a link to this ticket as a reference.

    You can find sig and SHA1 on the GPGTools Nightlies page.

    All the best, steve
