Add support for HTTP Basic Auth in keyserver URIs
Reported by Support | April 25th, 2018 @ 12:42 AM | in 2.2.7 (closed)
Assigned to Stable #66720. In some particular cases it might make sense to use key servers which are only available when authenticating first via HTTP Basic Auth. If such a URI is configured to be used, GnuPG simply strips out the authentication credentials at the moment and access fails.
This bug is filed with the GnuPG developers and a patch
submitted which is not yet included.

At the moment we use the patch in our own version though.
