Keychain integration does not work in launchd mode
Reported by Alex (via GPGTools) | August 23rd, 2011 @ 10:09 AM | in 2.0.18 (closed)
Steps that will reproduce the problem?
1. Restart the computer
2. Open a terminal
3. gpg2 -as filename
What is the expected result?
Signature for filename
What happens instead?
Pinentry asks for the password.
Possible workaround:
killall gpg-agent

I was just about to report something similar, but I suppose it's the same issue, so I just amend :
Thunderbird using Enigmail 1.3 on Lion 10.7.1
GPGTools Version 2011.07.11Steps that will reproduce the problem?
1. Write a signed Mail
2. Try to send it
3. Pinentry pops up and asks for the password
4. Put in the pw and check the save in keychain tickmarkWhat is the expected result?
Next time don't be asked for the password - but you are.
Manually check in the keychain with Keychain Access.app shows no entry for GnuPGWhat happens instead?
Pinentry asks for the password.Possible workaround:
killall gpg-agent Yep, I tried that : killed the agent, restarted it (under my user). Voila Pinentry can save to the Keychain and read from it. The GnuPG entry is where it is supposed to be now.
