
MacGPG2 on a FAT file system

GPGTools does not like being installed onto external flash drives, formatted with the FAT file system This log file, unfortunately, is once I moved the directory back onto the hard drive, and manually fixed the permissions

Sockets cannot be created on a FAT filesystem and, therefore, MacGPG2
will not run with a FAT filesystem.As previously stated, GnuPG v1.4 is more suited to this use case.

I understand: What about creating the socket at "/private/tmp/..." if ".gnupg" is on a flash drive?

Not suitable at this stage due to other dependencies. V1.4.x more
