Pinentry is shown on wrong GUI shell, doesn't accept keyboard input
Reported by Martijn Dashorst | June 6th, 2014 @ 11:16 AM
-
open a second login with a different account using screensharing to localhost
(enable 'remote login', run 'ssh -NL 5901:localhost:5900 localhost' in a terminal, open localhost:5901 using screensharing) -
try to sign a file with a GPG key with passphrase in the 'remote' UI
Expected:
- see pinentry in the screensharing window, accepting input for the passphrase
Actual:
- pinentry appears in shell that started screensharing, doesn't accept keystrokes

Also this apparently doesn't work when using account switching--when the login was still active from the above steps. If you log out, and log in using account switching, the pinentry is shown in the correct shell.
