gpgconf PATH has no effect on PATH for GUI applications
Reported by Support | August 10th, 2013 @ 01:11 PM
Assigned to Everything #10425. As reported in Tender:
GPGTools:
I'm reporting the same error as Zachary in http://support.gpgtools.org/discussions/everything/9091-usrbingpgconf. The non-standard path for gpgconf prevents GUI applications from finding the tools.
The directory the tool lives under, /usr/local/MacGPG2, is added to the path, via /etc/paths.d/MacGPG2. However /etc/paths is only relevant to command line applications, it has no effect on the PATH for GUI applications.
