pinentry: add hidden option to disable "store in macOS keychain" option
Reported by steve | June 8th, 2016 @ 03:04 PM | in 2.2.17 (closed)
Idea
pinentry loses option to "store in keychain"
The option moves to GPGPreferences. If a user wants to use the keychain to store his passwords but exclude one or a few of their keys, we solve this via a hidden setting (terminal).
Arguments for this are:
- for most users the "store password" default serves their needs best
- setting this for individual keys will only be interesting for power users
- thus setting this on a global basis, should serve most needs and the pinentry dialog would have one confusion option less
