Just out of curiosity, what purpose would this serve? Having a key to e.g. de- and encrypt files with GPGServies?

Just press enter when gpg asks for an e-mail address.

Alex, could you specify what the goal of this is? I was able to create several testing keys with exampleuser@whatever.com use. Those are all invalid mail-addresses. Or what do you consider invalid?

Version: 0.8.13
Steps that will reproduce the problem?
1. Generate a new key using GKA
2. Leave the field "E-mail address" emptyWhat is the expected result?
A new key.What happens instead?
Error: "Not a valid email address!"Possible workaround:
Generate the key via command line.Any additional information:
Just adopted the word "valid" from the error message. I meant: an empty mail address. -

ok, I see. Create a key without a mail-address (leaving the field blank). Mento said this is possible using MacGPG2, so he added it to Libmacgpg. Might be some weeks till this shows up in GKA, because GPGMail first has to be stable.

Regarding Milestone 0.9: isn't this a very simple change just to remove the e-mail validation?

Yes it is and Mento has already integrated it in Libmacgpg. But he said he's not gonna touch GKA this week (to integrate it there as well). He first want's to see that GPGMail is stable.
