imported keys not selected (key list timing bug) after import
Reported by steve | May 4th, 2016 @ 04:25 PM | in 1.4 (closed)
Reproduce
Importing several keys can result in the imported keys not being highlighted after import. This is a timing bug with the refreshing of the key list. If the user presses "ok" in the import results msg very quickly, the selection jumps to the very top of the key list.
This is due to the fact that GPG Keychain first has to refresh / reload / update the key list and if "OK" is pressed to quickly the key it should highlight is not yet on the list (yet). If one allows more time before pressing "ok" the highlighting works as expected.
