    Hi Jhon,

this is not our support platform but our ticket tracking system. Usually you would post this problem on our support forum at http://support.gpgtools.org, we'd determine if this is in fact a bug or rather a user problem or problem with the key and create a bug here. Also, you'll get a faster response on our support platform.

Now to your problem, some applications export the gpg key without self-signature. We don't know why they do it and it's very bad procedure but they still do. I think your friend's keys could have that problem.

Could you please attach the public key you're trying to export?

    Hi Jhon,

for the future, please use our helpdesk for any questions. But now that we are here in our cozy bug tracker, let's elaborate on what when wrong with that public key.

Public keys should never be saved as .rtf files. Please forward that info to your contact. If your contact is on OSX please use GPG Keychain Access to properly export a public key. It has an export option which creates working keys :)

Attached is the public key in question. Fixed and as .txt

    Best regards, Steve
