Date display in Key Inspector won't scroll enough

Sometimes, when in the Key Inspector I can't expand the Created and Expires date fields enough to show the complete date. This happens when there are several keys with different dates. If I try to use my mouse to expand the column, instead of the "double arrow column resizing" cursor, I get the "you're already at the maximum and can only decrease the size of this column" single left-facing arrow cursor.

See the attached screenshot for a bit of detail, though I can't easily capture the cursor in it. This is as expanded as I'm able to make the Created column.

To reproduce

  • Open the GPG Keychain Access application
  • Select a user with several key signatures by double-clicking the nickname. The "Key Inspector" window opens.
  • In the bottom ("Signatures") area, try to expand the "Created" field so that the entire date is displayed. It stops short of showing the complete date in some cases.

I'm using version 1.1.2

    Hi Isaac, does this persist with Version 1.1.2 (69ae165) (742n)?

    Could you please download and install our latest nightly build and see if the problem persists.

    Anyways, often it's better to create a discussion on our support platform and then we can see if we really need a ticket.

    Sorry for opening a ticket in the wrong place.

    The short version of the story is that now with 1.1.2 (e833ef5) (754n) the problem seems to be fixed.

    The slightly longer version of the story is that it took me so long to realize because I thought the Info/Details window was broken and kept waiting and checking new nightly builds to see when it would return. Turns out, my GPG Keychain Access window was maximized on the screen and the Details area, which used to float as another window, now expands to the right of the main window -- so it was expanding off screen and I never saw it (since the initial window already filled the entire screen). It was just luck that I eventually accidentally moved the main window and realized it had been there all along while I was testing the nightlies.

    Anyway, seems it has been fixed and I look forward to seeing it in a release. Thanks so much!
