Via Tender: Display subkey capabilities in Key Inspector
Reported by Support | January 2nd, 2012 @ 09:18 AM | in 1.1 (closed)
Assigned to Tender discussion #242. As reported in Tender:
The Key Inspector in GPG Keychain Access does not identify the capabilities (encrypt/sign/certify/authenticate) of subkeys. To obtain that information (without firing up PGP Desktop, which displays the "usage" of each subkey), I have to open a Terminal window and run gpg with a --list-keys or --list-secret-keys directive.
What is the point of listing subkeys in Key Inspector if you don't tell the user what each subkey is for?
