MAC OS 10.8.2 does not load GPGtools because it did not come from App Store
Reported by Barry Holtzkener | October 24th, 2012 @ 05:08 PM | in 2013 05 (closed)
After having received the MAC X.8.2 update removing Java I
attempted to load PGPtools.
When I clicked the download .mpkg I received this message:
Your security preferences only allow applications from App
Store.
This is incorrect since the radio button shows the middle choice,
AppStore and Identified developers.
Also I am unable to change this setting.

- State changed from new to invalid
This is expected. New versions of the installer will be correctly signed.
For now: right click the file > Open

Thanks Steve,
I did go through the listings but I guess I missed it.
Now I'm looking for the reason that my Mail.App does not give me any options to enter my credentials.
I'll get back to you as soon as I find it.
