
Put any unsigned binaries into an app bundle

GPG Mail Support Plan #4617. Various tools show our shell
script binaries as being from an unknown developer.
This of course is confusing for users.
Also Apple System Settings › General › Login Items shows kind of a mess and we should figure out how to better couple the items together.
Use sfltool dumpbtm
from eclecticlight or Patrick
Wardle to learn more.

Edit: Interesting tidbit from Quinn "the Eskimo" which basically
states that code signed binaries (code signed by packaging them
into an app bundle) are pure cosmetics. Wasn't completely aware of
that:

Some login items show "unidentified developer" and no icon:

shutdown-gpg-agentLittle Snitch Agent and Little Snitch managed to address this in version 5.6.
