This one is specialized for the website. Your organizational ticket is more a meta-ticket that states that we need support multi language support everywhere ;)

A solution based on gettext would be the best one imho.

My native language is catalan so I can provide catalan translation as well.
I have no previous experience on gettext, do you, schneefisch?

Hmm, good question. We have so many problems already. First we need a nice and easy way user can contribute. I don't really see that so that makes it a bit difficult to judge how hard it would be to contribute a language).
Feel free to close this. We should focus on software localization and wiki localization first anyways, since both is already possible and there's enough to be done in that two areas.
I think: let's get GPGMail stable. As soon as that is done make a call for localization of all our software.
